Plasma in the Sky
4:09 PM

They say some stars take billions of years until their light can be seen on earth. By the time you make a wish on one, it's already dead. It's weird how people have such great appreciation for something that isn't even alive. We don't think dead flowers or bones in the ground are pretty. What makes stars so much different? they're just tiny pieces of plasma, but we make wishes on them. We make shapes out of them, and look to them for guidance in our future. We look to them for directions, we look to them for religion. When they aren't visible, we get lonely. We put all this hope and pressure into a single ball of plasma in the sky. When you're a star, it's kind of like playing god.
